Kailand Morris's Chair

Using the design of Kailand Morris and the production of the Lab and Global Green Journeys, the Chair will be showcased as a purchasable item that will eventually raise funds for the project while promoting the circular economy and new sustainable business models.

Goal

To use the chair to make people more aware of their efforts towards being and living a more sustainable life and showing not only the practicality of the Sustainability Lab but also the beauty of the products that will be created.

Paris utilized processed plastic and various shades to craft a beautiful artwork on canvas. The canvas itself was constructed from plastic collected from the Maldives, employing equipment from the Fairmont Sustainability Lab.
